Forever In Our Hearts

On Sunday with my parents, Zach's parents, and Isaac we had our own little memorial service for our baby that God choose to take to Heaven to be with Him. We planted some flowers and put some stones in and put a little fence around it. Isaac read some verses that have been an encouragement to us, then Zach said a few words and then both of our fathers prayed. It was a very special time for us! We were able to feel a little bit of closure. It was really neat because it was threatening to rain when we started and about ten minutes after we got everything picked back up and in the house it started pouring down rain! Zach and my mom at the same time said that it felt like God was crying with us. We are doing our best to be responsible for this little life that God gave us, even if for only 13 weeks, by using the loss of our baby as an opportunity to speak for Him. It is not always easy and we have had and continue to have moments where we struggle to understand God's plan for our lives and yet we know His plan is perfect. Thank you so much for all the prayer support! We know we would not have gotten through some of these first really rough days without it!
