Waiting, waiting, waiting........
So I'm beginning to think that I never really learned patience while I was growing up. It will have been TWO WHOLE WEEKS since we sent in our paper work to Bethany and we still haven't heard from them. I know they got it too because the check I wrote them cleared our checking account. :) haha....that's what happens when you work in a bank you have nothing better to do then watch your account to see the minute a check or debit clears your account. lol Seriously though, for those of you who have been asking, that is where we are at. Just waiting to receive a call from Bethany to find out when we can start our home study so that we can bring our baby home as soon as possible. Its kind of a weird/cool/exciting feeling thinking about the fact that our baby may be conceived already and right now, growing and developing in his/her birth mothers tummy. "Lord please help her make wise decisions and keep our baby safe." We don't know where are baby is, but we do know that we already love him/her and are eagerly anticipating getting to meet the baby that God has handpicked for us! It is such a wonderful thing to be chosen by God to be a part of something so close to Gods heart! We are learning so many wonderful things about our own adoption into God's family through this process. Even though we may never understand why God did not give us children right away and through the way we had planned, we know that He has a plan for our lives much more wonderful then we can imagine. Anyway, enough on the sermons. lol We also have a praise for our garage sale. The lord provided about $500.00 from our sale to put towards our adoption expenses! God is so amazing!

I got goosebumps reading your post! (because we had those same exact feelings not very long ago, and completely understand the "weird/cool/exciting" feeling you describe). Adoption is such an amazing gift! We are SOO excited for you guys and continue to pray. "Adoption is when a baby grows in a mother's heart instead of her tummy."
